E-GEN/MAP 5.1.1 is available immediately. With version 5.1.1 you can be installed, implemented, and totally documented within two or three (2 or 3) days…and not with a “canned demo” but using your production JCL, PROCS, COBOL, DATABASE, SCHEDULING PACKAGE, etc…You can now also document your scheduling workflow with absolutely no “special commands or programming” on your part. E-GEN/MAP features a graphing utility
for JCL, COBOL, scheduling products and more. E-GEN/MAP provides IT
professionals with a comprehensive yet compact graphic view of their IS
components. E-GEN Suite version 5.1.1 not only includes New & Enhanced Collectors (SMF, OPC OI, PSB/DBD, PL/I, CA-7, Adabas/Natural) but also some new features: Automatic graph mode selection, Broadcasting facility, Enhanced collect process (reduces collect duration time), Enhanced incremental collect, User Group for Enhanced security administration and Query improvements. The E-GEN Suite of
products is a full-featured OS/390, Z/OS and/or UNIX, LINUX, AIX based Operations repository.
It requires PC clients running MS/Windows 95,98, NT or later with
Pentium processor, 32MB RAM and double-speed CD-ROM drive. Since the original version of E-GEN was introduced in mid-1993, the E-GEN Suite has helped well over 100 banking, financial, manufacturing, distribution, insurance, government and other data centers, typically the most sophisticated computing centers in the world, manage their toughest business challenges. The portability of the
E-GEN Suite of products to other platforms is guaranteed because of strategic
choices made during the initial development phases. Components, tools or
standards like C++, POSIX compliance, OPEN Edition and TCP/IP were selected to
assure full transparency and portability across platforms. These choices are
also the technical criteria required by IBM to accept International Software
Company in the "PartnerWorld for Developers Program". International Software Company, is a privately held company, has been providing Data Center Automation solutions since 1986. International Software Company has offices in the United States, Belgium and France and a distributor network throughout Europe and South America.
