of a NEW E-GEN Suite Product E-GEN/JCLChecker
release 5.1.1
Brookfield, Wisconsin -- International Software Company announced today the introduction of a new product to their E-GEN Suite. E-GEN/JCLCHecker version 5.1.1 is available immediately. E-GEN/JCLcheckeR is used for JCL Validation. It is specifically designed to support error-free mission-critical production JCL. E-GEN/JCLcheckeR helps ensure an error-free production JCL environment by providing easy validation of JCL prior to production execution. Operations staff’s objective is to be able to suppress the potential for system outages caused by JCL errors with an easy to use and affordable automation tool. E-GEN/JCLcheckeR has everything you need by providing functions such as JCL error detection, intelligent analysis for environment norms & standards enforcement and sites consolidations. Some technical features include: Execution JCL or PROCs for input. JCLcheckeR can be used “Online” from the TSO/ISPF interface or in “Batch”. The Online mode allows the use of some command options: PGM, JES, MSG. The Batch mode can perform a single job or complete system review in one run. User validation rules coded with the Straight forward I$C command language. No “compile” required for User validation rules. Extended error message text. Interface with RACF, TSS or ACF2. Integration with any Scheduling Change Control Management software. Compatible with all data center software. Runs on all OS/390 & Z/OS versions. Available for JES2 and JES3 and No system hooks or exits E-GEN/JCLCheckeR is CPU based priced and MIPS independent.
